Contaminated Water in this basement left this insured really uneasy until SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores was able to begin.  Do you know what to do if contaminated water enters your home or business?  Here are a few 'Do and Don't' for your loss.

Don't: 

-Spread contaminated water by walking unneccessarily on damaged or wet areas. 

-Turn on the HVAC system if there is a possibility of spreading contaminated air.

-Use household fans to dry the structure and spread contaminants.

-Use products for personal hygiene and cleanliness if exposed to the contaminated area.

DO:

-Avoid all contact with sewage and items contaminated by sewage.

-Wash your hands thoroughly after contact with contaminated items.
