SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores

The only thing worse than a plumbing disaster is not having indoor plumbing – how’s that for putting a positive spin on something utterly negative?

Whether it is a slow leak or a sudden burst of water that soaks a Roseville home, dealing with water damage is tough, and therefore a job best left to professionals. SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores is a leader in the remediation of water damage for both structures and belongings.

Water damage is always an emergency, so call us as soon as you can: 586-741-5050.

Our emergency services are available:

365 days a year

 24 hours a day

Yes, even on holidays (see “365 days a year”)

Even on weekends (see “365 days a year”)

Even when it is late at night or early in the morning or during a mealtime (see “24 hours a day”)

Before SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores Teams Arrive

We stand by our promise to be Faster to any size disaster, but we haven’t perfected faster-than-light travel, and we must gather information before we can build the team and collect the equipment.

There are some things you can do before we arrive. You may not need or be able to do all of them but having something to do can help with the remediation, and it may help keep down your panic level. There are also some things you should not try to do, and we’ve listed those as well.

To Do & Not to Do:

  • Find safe places for family members and pets to stay. If there is a chance the entire home is in danger from flood or microbial growth, find a place outside the home.
  • Take photos or videos to document the damage.
  • Don’t try to move large water-soaked items; a gallon of water weighs eight pounds, so imagine how heavy a water-logged couch could be. At SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores, we have the people and equipment to move items safely.
  • If you can reach circuit breakers and electrical equipment without standing in water, turn off the electricity and unplug the items. Remove small electrical items and move them to dry areas. Again, do this only if you can do so safely.
  • Move important documents to a safe location outside the house.
