SERVPRO of St. Clair Shores Provides Expert Remediation and Restoration

We are Independently Owned and Operated

SERVPRO® of St. Clair Shores is a local business; we are part of the community. When disaster hits Roseville, we help homeowners and businesses get their buildings in good condition again.

Emergencies can’t be scheduled, so we are available all day, every day. That’s right: 24/7/52. Call us at 586-741-5050.

We Work Well with Others

We are independent and local, but we have national resources. When a big disaster hits, such as the international pandemic, the wildfires out west, and the flooding from Hurricane Sally in the southeast, we can join other franchises to provide services.

We Like State Trivia

Here is some trivia that may amaze friends and acquaintances:

  • The world’s largest limestone quarry is in Rogers City.
  • Wolverines, our state animal, were mostly pushed out of Michigan 200 years ago, but a biologist did see one in 2004. In 2010, another biologist found the dead body of a wolverine.
  • That wolverine is stuffed and mounted. You can find it in Bay City State Park.
  • Wolverines look like small bears except they have bushy tails. That’s just fun.
  • Cathelepistemian University, established in Detroit in 1817, was one of the first universities in the United States. In 1821, to the relief of future sports announcers, the university changed its name to The University of Michigan.
  • The University of Michigan moved to Ann Arbor in 1841.
  • We have an official state stone! It’s the Petoskey, and you can find it along Lake Michigan.
  • Our state reptile is the painted turtle; our state wildflower is the dwarf lake iris.
  • Only the wolverine could inspire fear. The reptile, the stone, and the wildflower are harmless.
  • The Detroit Zoo was the first one in the U.S. to have open exhibits (no cages).
  • Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the world.
  • Michigan has more shoreline than any U.S. state except Alaska.
  • Michigan has more than 11,000 inland lakes and more than 36,000 miles of streams.
  • People who claim we have the fewest fish are from Wisconsin.
  • Michigan is the only state that touches four of the five Great Lakes.
  • We trust you know the fifth one is Lake Ontario.
  • We were the first state to provide in its Constitution for the establishment of public libraries.
  • We were also the first state to guarantee every child the right to a public high school education.
  • Detroit telephone customers were the first in the U.S. to have phone numbers (1879).
