The Seven-Step Process

We mentioned the process and can’t leave you in suspense, so:

The worst-case scenario is we call back 59 minutes later, but that rarely happens. When we talk with you, we’ll ask several questions to figure out how best to help.

2. Inspection and Assessment

Please don’t throw out anything before we arrive. You may be surprised at what we can salvage. We also have the equipment to move heavy objects safely and to protect ourselves from fumes. We know where the smoke tends to travel, so will look for damage in places you may not know to search.

3. Board-Up and Roof-Tarp Service (if needed)

While we’ve listed this one-third, we may have team members do it while others are working on the assessment. If parts of the structure are open to the elements, we work to protect the structure. We can also provide temporary fences and portable power.

4. Water Removal and Drying (if necessary)

Water damage is a frequent consequence of the fire. It starts quickly and can be devastating, so we start on that as soon as possible.

5. Removal of Smoke and Soot from All Surfaces
