Due to the pandemic, I began working from home in Warren, and I decided to spruce up my guest suite and turn it into a home office. I decided to give the guest bathroom a makeover, too, by replacing the vanity and the light fixtures. When the old vanity was removed, we discovered a slow leak that seeped into and ruined the drywall, baseboards, and floor joists under the plumbing line beneath the vanity. It was such a small leak that it had gone unnoticed for some time, creating a large repair bill.

Fortunately, SERVPRO^® of St. Clair Shores water restoration technicians came out did an assessment of the damage, extracted the water, removed the water-damaged drywall and baseboards and installed air movers and dehumidifiers to completely dry out the area. After the repairs were completed, they cleaned and sanitized the bathroom and when they were through with the repairs you would never know that there had been any work done at all!
